I've written this poem in 2 settings:
First part was written sometime in 2004, when everything seemed to be falling apart, and then did not.
The second part was written in April of 2008, during another dark night of my soul. In April, everything fell apart at the seem. My husband was gone, and so was the the business that fed me for 9 years.
I was lost, scared, with no direction, no money - only my son to take care of.
Somehow, looking through papers, I found the first piece, and the words came to me as continuation of it.
As I re-read it yesterday and posted it in my blog, I realized that God spoke to me even when I could not listen.
